Classical training without the tears.
I teach classical piano the real way—proper technique, real repertoire, actual sight-reading. But I’m not the kind of teacher who makes a six-year-old cry over hand position. I pay close attention to how each student learns and I adjust constantly. The standard is high. The way we get there is flexible. That’s what keeps students playing instead of quitting.

Ages 5 Through Adult
Read moreYour kid might be preparing for GMTA auditions. Or they might just want to learn an advanced Pirates of the Caribbean arrangement. Either way, I teach them the same way—with real technique and real attention.
Every piece I assign is chosen for a reason. Not just because it sounds good, but because of what it teaches. The foundation is always classical, but the music we play together depends on the student. A first-grader learning to read notes and an adult working through Chopin both get the same level of care from me.

Daytime Lessons for Adults
Read moreMost studios fill their schedules with after-school slots. I keep daytime openings specifically for adults—whether you work from home, have a flexible schedule, or are retired and finally have time for piano.
Daytime lessons feel different. There’s room to think, listen, and actually enjoy the process. No rushing in from traffic. No back-to-back chaos. One of my adult students jokes that piano replaced therapy. I hear some version of that a lot.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or picking it back up after years away, we’ll figure out what makes sense for you.

Homeschool Piano Lessons
Read moreI work with many homeschool families across East Cobb and Roswell. Lessons are weekday mornings and early afternoons, so your child is learning when they’re fresh—not running on fumes at the end of the day.
I try to make piano feel like a natural part of your school week, not something extra you have to work around. If your family does GMTA events or festivals, I prepare students for those too. But plenty of my homeschool families just want consistent, quality lessons, and that’s more than enough.

Your piano. Your schedule. No rushing out the door.
If your family’s anything like most of the families I work with in Roswell, your evenings are already pretty full—school pickups, homework, dinner, sprinkled with karate and dance. Driving to a piano studio and back can turn a 30-minute lesson into an hour-long ordeal.
So I come to you instead.
There’s a practical side too—kids tend to do better when they learn on the same piano they practice on every day. No adjusting to a different keyboard. What we cover in a lesson flows right into their practice that week.
Most families tell me it saves them two to three hours a month. Time that turns into a real sit-down dinner or homework that doesn’t feel rushed. No racing down Sandy Plains between activities.

I travel to your home for every lesson. My Roswell teaching area covers neighborhoods west of Highway 9—from Mountain Park and Crabapple south to the Chattahoochee, including the corridors along Shallowford Road, Cox Road, and Mabry Road.

About Davide Palmer
Davide has been playing piano since childhood and never really stopped. His training took him from the Conservatorio Domenico Cimarosa in Avellino, Italy, to the Manhattan School of Music in New York, where he studied under Solomon Mikowsky.
That classical foundation shapes every lesson he teaches—but what keeps families coming back isn’t a résumé. It’s his ability to meet each student exactly where they are. A seven-year-old learning to read notes and a retiree revisiting Bach get the same patience and attention.
Davide currently works with over 60 private students in homes throughout East Cobb, Marietta, and Roswell, including families near Mountain Park, Crabapple, and Historic Roswell.
Beyond weekly lessons, his students regularly participate in GMTA-sanctioned events, studio recitals, and festivals. Over time, that consistent preparation builds real confidence—the kind that comes from doing serious work well.
“David is a great piano teacher, musician and professional. He has been a lot of fun and great inspiration for the kids. Extremely attentive and understanding the student’s progress, tutoring with selective approach and great repertoire. Highly recommend!”
“Mr Palmer is a great teacher, my son is always excited when he comes. Thanks to him my son loves to play, enjoys it and makes a great progress. I’m happy that we started this journey with the right teacher. He is great with kids and a good person.”
“We’ve only been working with Davide for a few months and already seeing great improvement. Not only in skill set but more importantly my son is ENJOYING the piano. Would highly recommend Davide and his approach.”

Frequently Asked Questions
I work with students ages 5 through adult. My current studio includes young beginners, homeschool students, working professionals, and retirees. Every lesson is shaped around the individual student’s age, goals, and pace.
Yes. Daytime slots are ideal for adult students—whether you work from home, are retired, or have a flexible schedule. Many of my adult students appreciate the focused, unhurried pace of a midday lesson.
Absolutely. Piano lessons integrate naturally into a homeschool schedule. I work with several homeschool families and can tailor lesson times and pacing to complement their academic rhythm.
I teach classical, contemporary, pop, and jazz-influenced repertoire depending on the student’s interests and goals. The foundation is always strong technique and musicianship, but the music itself should inspire the student.
I do. East Cobb is my primary teaching area. I also serve families in Roswell and surrounding neighborhoods, depending on schedule availability. Learn more about East Cobb lessons →
